Why should you do a nanny background check anyway? If you’re reading this, I’m sure you’ve witnessed Dateline NBC and other news shows, some of the horrors that children of all walks of life have lived through at the hands of nannies and babysitters.

And don’t fail to remember those people that you meet that you don’t know and you are considering hiring them, dating them or whatever. Doing free background checks makes certain that you and your children are safe and remain that way.

Because you have children that you love very much and you have to find them a nanny to take care of them while you are not at home, a nanny background check is the only way to ensure that your children are safe when you are not there.

A nanny background check will show you the complete character of the person which is exactly what you want. It will reveal if they ever were convicted of a misdemeanor or a felony in the past seven years. It will show you a complete criminal background, civil court lawsuits, education and medical records and anything else that would be important to you will be included in a nanny background check.

Many people, everyday normal people like you, have actually discovered their nannies and babysitters hitting and abusing their children. Many of them have walked in on the caregiver; their kids have told them or they caught them on tape; perhaps they viewed it with their own eyes which is why doing a nanny background check is so imperative.

Obviously, if that happens, you will already have an answer regarding that person’s background.
