Sturgis: Bike Enthusiast Roar In South Dakota

Every August, the Roar of thunder rolls through the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. This is no malestrom, though. No dark clouds darken the sky; no jagged bolts of lightning strike the earth. A blinding glint of sunshine on chrome and everything becomes clear – it’s time for Sturgis!

Every year the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is discovered in the northwester Black Hills of South Dakota. Hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts (600,000 was the number in 2000) cruise through hills and converge on the tiny destination of Sturgis. This raly has been held every year since 1938 and gives amazing enjoyment for Harley loves and everyone else.
